absolutely charming independent hotel with good value, we had a very enjoyable stay. a mini fridge bar, central heating, and iron and ironing board inside the comfort double room were handy. location: the property was so close to the great ancient church and alsace. there was an attached restaurant nearby.

Located next to a lovely walled garden with storks nesting on the chimneys. Beautiful surroundings of the Vosges and autoroute. Well-appointed and well-decorated rooms with several large windows. Very comfortable bed.

The hotel is located in a charming village and is conveniently close to the motorway. The rooms are cozy, romantic, and clean, with a lovely view of the village church. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were delighted with the Easter egg chocolates waiting for us in our rooms. Additionally, the hotel offers a delicious breakfast that we thoroughly enjoyed.
One downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made the room quite uncomfortable during the unusually hot weather. Another issue was the scruffy appearance of the hotel, which could have been improved with some attention to detail and maintenance.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Du Herrenstein in Neuwiller-les-Saverne. The food was exceptional, offering a delightful French dining experience at a reasonable price. Our room was clean, tastefully decorated, and provided a lovely view of the backyard and church. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my mother's needs, offering an upgraded room on a lower floor without any additional cost. The hotel's character and its location in a charming village added to the overall experience. Additionally, dining al fresco in the hotel garden, surrounded by nesting herons, was a special treat.
Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms at the Hotel du Herrenstein are absolutely delightful. They are elegantly furnished and come with handy amenities like a flat-screen TV, minibar, and CD player. The private bathrooms are fitted with a shower or tub and a hairdryer. I felt like a VIP in these well-appointed rooms.
Personally, I found the minibar in the room to be a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion.

The hotel is located near a charming ancient church, providing a unique and atmospheric setting. The rooms are well-appointed and tastefully decorated, ensuring a comfortable stay. The friendly and attentive staff go above and beyond to accommodate guests, as seen by the receptionist upgrading a room for a guest with mobility concerns. Additionally, the hotel offers on-site parking, making it convenient for guests with vehicles.
Some staff members, particularly one lady, could have been friendlier and more welcoming, which slightly affected the overall experience.
